The area: Sales and Operations

The Sales and Operations team keeps WiValley growing and profitable. We are dedicated to expand our coverage with the highest levels of service. We are responsible to add new business and residential customers and increasing revenue from broadband access and VoIP, and planned value added services such as Remote Monitoring, and security video surveillance.  This means our Sales and Operations team members need to be proactive, motivated, organized, responsible – and able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The role: Inside Sales Representative

Inside Sales is responsible for driving incremental revenue and acquiring new business and residential customers.  Although Inside Sales will have involvement in marketing and operations their primary focus is to acquire customers. You’ll sell Broadband Access and value added services to business and residential customers throughout our service area and then execute a well thought-out sales campaign that provides a measurable return on investment. You bring a proven background in acquiring new clients, and you have particularly adept abilities in cold calling, sales pitches, and general business development.


  • Prospect for new clients and react to inbound customer requests.
  • Secure new Broadband clients by presenting customized sales & marketing solutions.
  • Work closely with our Sales & Operations team, to ensure your newly-sold customers achieve the best service and fastest speeds.
  • Effectively manage your sales pipeline and develop a strategy for long-term sustained success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
  • 1 year experience in consumer sales
  • 1 year experience in business sales, business development, and/or online media (Google +, Twitter, Facebook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry.
  • Demonstrated self-starter who thrives in a team environment.
  • Extremely proactive, organized, responsible, and proven ability to work well with a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to pitch sales solutions over the telephone and in person.
  • Passion for consumer sales.
  • Desire to use your skills and grow within a small company.
